My channel has featured many different versions of Canon, and this time I arranged marasy8’s rock-style band version into a pure piano solo. Marasy8 is one of the pianists who inspired me the most when I first started playing. I practiced many of his arrangements years ago, and I’ve always loved the slight jazz flavor in this Canon arrangement. This performance is my piano solo interpretation of the band version. If I ever get the chance to perform it with a drummer and bassist, I believe it would sound even more powerful! Original band version:    • カノン（kanon） / まらおバンド feat.IKUO & yuji yono   🎹 Difficulty & Practice Notes (Difficulty rating is based on my personal impression.) Difficulty: ★★★★★★★★★★ 12/10 The tempo is very fast. The introduction allows for expressive freedom— feel free to shape the tempo and dynamics rather than playing rigidly. From measure 13 onward, the right hand becomes tiring quickly, so try to play close to the keys instead of lifting your fingers too high. The left hand jumps a lot and is prone to mistakes; I recommend practicing hands separately to build accuracy before combining them. Starting at measure 34, the buildup section requires clear accents and careful attention to the melody —some notes are passed between both hands, and keeping the melody smooth is crucial. Measure 107 features repeated right-hand octaves. Again, playing close to the keys helps with control, and some sudden four-note chords make this part especially tricky. Measure 142 requires precise pedal control; some lines should not be overly legato to maintain the rock feel. Measures 159–161 contain a very fast repeating pattern (re–do–la). I practiced this slowly and tried to find a natural “looping motion” using a relaxed wrist from top to bottom. And finally, measures 169–170 are the “ultimate boss.” The ultra-fast arpeggios are extremely challenging— if your technique isn’t ready, feel free to simplify or omit some notes. ================================================= #CanonRock #marasy8 #PianoCover #SheetMusic #Piano
