I first discovered it through Marasy8’s performance, and I was blown away the moment I heard it— I never imagined a piece could sound this intense and cool. Before I started uploading on YouTube, I had already tried practicing it, but back then, I simply couldn’t play it— the speed was overwhelming and my hands would tense up immediately. Recently, I decided to challenge myself again and share the journey with everyone. I’ve practiced this for quite a long time (on and off for about three months). With my current technical foundation, it was impossible to play smoothly without reworking my fingering and approach. Even though it’s not a perfect 100% performance, I’m still proud of how much I’ve grown. I can play it relatively well during practice, but recording it in one full take—combined with nerves— makes mistakes and unstable tempo much more likely. Maybe one day, I’ll revisit this and record a new version. Original track:    • ピアノ協奏曲第1番 蠍火(PF Concerto No. 1 "Anti-Ares" )   Marasy8 version (00:00–02:08):    • 段位認定皆伝メドレーをピアノで弾いてみた【beatmaniaIIDX】   🎹 Difficulty & Sheet Music Notes (Difficulty is based on my personal impression.) Difficulty: ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ 15/10 This piece is extremely fast. Measures 33–39 are, in my opinion, the hardest part of the entire piece. If your speed hits a ceiling, simple slow practice won’t be enough (unless your technique is already very strong). You’ll need to rethink fingering and efficiency to break through. Relaxation is crucial—if you play with tension, you won’t survive the full piece. The sheet music includes my recommended fingerings, pedaling, dynamics, and a few very small edits to make the piece slightly more playable (still extremely difficult). The indicated tempo and dynamic markings serve only as general guidance; the real expression involves much more nuance than what can be fully notated.
