Today Grandma Matilda is Cooking a Traditional Hungarian Begyerő, Potato Noodles Ingredients: 1 Onion (Finely Sliced) 3 Medium Sized Potatoes 1 Packet of Bread Crumbs 1 500 gram packet of Cake Flour 1 Tablespoon of Oil (Brazing the Onion) 1 Tablespoon of Salt (Add to Rapidly Boiling water) Strawberry Jam ( For the dessert, can be substituted for plums) Watch Granny for Directions There are two Variations of Serving Begyerő in this video and an extra lesson in making a quick dessert out of the remaining pastry Total Cooking Time Approx 15 Minutes if you have premade the mash potatos Notes: After mashing the potatoes Ensure they are as cool and as dry possible before using them with this recipe do not add milk or water to the mash
