Skeena Pacific #2650 CPKC Train 805 Meets RMR, Mile 32.2 Shuswap Sub, Malakwa, BC, Canada 2026-07-08
You'll notice the wind has picked up and is slowly dispersing the wildfire smoke. Into the scene comes CPKC Train #805, a westbound of coal loads, which comes to a stop on the (north) siding track at Malakwa. It's not long before the eastbound Rocky Mountaineer Railtour train shows up. RMRX is 8016 is leading RMRX8011 on the eastbound. After passing, 805, with CP8852 and a wave (thanks) leads CP9769 past me. CP9356 is in mid-train and CP9738 is on the tail. The action is caught from just east of the Malakwa Suspension Bridge Road grade crossing at Mile 32.2 of the CPKC Shuswap Subdivision in Malakwa, British Columbia, Canada.
