Skeena Pacific #2651 CPKC Train 401 Meets CPKC 102 Mile 32.2 Shuswap Sub, Malakwa, BC, Canada 260708

A bit of a missed-cue to start. I had heard CPKC Train #102 calling his clearance at the west end of Malakwa. I had missed CPKC Train #401 do the same thing for the east end, so he caught me looking the wrong way. Nevertheless, here is CPKC-CP7406 leading CPKC-CP7513 on the mixed freight, then CP8906 leading CPKC-CP7571comes in from the west. CP9762 is #102's mid-train with CP8909 on the tail. Some where in the middle of 102, we'll catch CP8959 in mid-train on 401. Confused? Just watch. At the end of the rail proceedings, an irate driver can't wait for a large truck to get out of the way. The truck has to wait for the oncoming traffic, but the driver behind doesn't care. It's mostly audio... The action is caught from just east of the Malakwa Suspension Bridge Road grade crossing at Mile 32.2 of the CPKC Shuswap Subdivision in Malakwa, British Columbia, Canada. If you go to Google, select Maps and paste in 50°56'20.2"N 118°47'34.8"W you'll see the location of the camera for this video. Technical: Recorded with a Canon XA55 4KHD Pro video camera at 1920x1080 resolution and 60 frames per second. It is equipped with an Azden SMX-10 Stereo Microphone mounted inside a Rode Blimp Windshield. A Neewer NW74K 7-Inch 1920x1080 Field Monitor is also used. All equipment is mounted on a custom Neewer camera cage attached to a Canadian Studio Pro Heavy Duty 72" Tripod using a NEEWER GM006 Pro Video Fluid Head.
