Making a machinist's jack - part 3 (completion)
In this video the machinist's jack is completed. The main focus of this video is forming the ball joint for the pad. This involves using an internal radius turning tool and a press tool made off camera. Some minor adjustments are needed to get the radius forming tool to perform properly. The press tool works perfectly. As a precaution a trial run is performed and small adjustments incorporated into the final dimensions of the female part of the ball joint.
