Cab Ride Zagreb - Split Part 1 to Oštarije (Croatian Railways, Croatia) drivers' view 4K

In this video you can enjoy the cab ride - train drivers' view on Croatian Railways train between the capital of Croatia Zagreb and Split on the coast of the Adriatic see, the first part of the journey to Oštarije, in 4K/60 frames per second. Whole journey will take us from plains of central Croatia, through the forests of Gorski Kotar, plains of Lika then changing the scenery once again for Dalmatian hinterland and finally reaching the Adriatic Sea just northwest of Split. In this first part we will drive along the Zagreb–Rijeka railway, officially designated as the M202 railway. It is a 229-kilometre (142 mi) long railway line in Croatia connecting Zagreb and Rijeka. It is part of the Pan-European corridor V branch B, which runs from Rijeka to Budapest. It is electrified and single-tracked. The line was first opened in 1865 between Zagreb and Karlovac, a branch of the Zidani most to Sisak line. The section to Rijeka was opened on 6 September 1873, and is notable for its steep descent towards the port city. Rijeka was a border station with the Ferrovie delle Stato from 1918 up to 1945, when the whole line became part of the Yugoslav Railways. Since 1991, it is owned by the Croatian Railways.
