SB Creative Publishing Pre-orders now available on Amazon! https://amzn.to/3HXfvTb ▼Ingredients [Skin] Mochi flour: 250g Sugar: 50g Hot water: 200cc [Ingredient A] Kiriboshi daikon radish: 20g (soaked in water) Soaking water: 200cc Carrot: 1/3 Fried tofu: 1 slice Chirimen (dried small dried fish): as needed Kelp: as needed Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon Sugar: 2 teaspoons [Ingredient B] Anko (sweet bean paste): as needed Oil: 1 tablespoon Hot water: 1 cup ▼Tips When mixing the dough, add the hot water little by little! Do not add all the ingredients at once. → Mix thoroughly with chopsticks and your hands, kneading until the mixture is slightly firmer than an earlobe. Stir the dashi stock thoroughly until it boils (to prevent the sugar from solidifying). When flattening the dough, roll it out from the edge, not the center. After wrapping the ingredients: Daikon radish → Shape into a ball without crushing it. Anko → Shape into a flat ball. Arrange the oyaki before the frying pan heats up. Rotate the oyaki to prevent uneven cooking. → Check the doneness by turning the meat over frequently. Wipe off any excess moisture with kitchen paper.
