Enjoy a bus ride with me on Golden Arrow bus A4404 from Mowbray to Silvertown! 😁 Golden Arrow bus A4404 is a 2008 MAN Lion's Explorer G1 65 seater bus that was also part of a 750 unit order (4249-4999) and just like Golden Arrow bus SG4204 the 2006 MAN Explorer A63 bus that I filmed in 2024 and Golden Arrow bus A4328 the 2007 MAN Lion's Explorer G1 bus that I filmed last year, these 2008 MAN Lion's Explorer G1 buses are also in the process of retirement. Like Golden Arrow buses SG4204 and A4328, these units are powered by an MAN D0836 6.9 litre turbocharged and supercharged inline 6 cylinder 4 stroke diesel engine mated with a 4 speed Voith DIWA D851.1 automatic gearbox. These units are equipped with the ISRI South African spec passenger seats (65 in total) and are equipped with driver operated climate control. I must say tho, traffic was EXTREMELY bad on the way home, not ideal for enjoying a bus ride eh?
