How's Golden Arrow Bus T5156 AKA The Famous MAN Lion's Explorer Bus Doing In 2026? Let's Find Out! 😁

So today we're revisiting one of my favourite Golden Arrow buses, T5156 AKA the famous 2020 MAN Lion's Explorer G2 bus! 😁 We're basically doing an extravaganza bus ride from downtown Cape Town CBD to Claremont! 😊 We all know and love this bus! 😁 Her engine and gearbox is running smoothly as usual and she's sounding very healthy and happy! 😁 However the brakes are gonna need new brake pads as the brakes squeak EXTREMELY badly upon stopping, but it's not the worst we've ever seen, given the fact that this bus, just like it's siblings, has a high mileage, which is normal. 😊 It's also gonna need new rear shocks, struts, springs and wishbones as these one's are starting to develop a little bit of play in the rear suspension and it's also gonna need new rear subframe bushings. But apart from that, this bus is still running smoothly and reliably! 😁 Apologies for the shaky camera at the start of the bus ride, the roads are HORRIBLE here in Woodstock.
