As the lightest and most powerful standard model in McLaren’s supercar history, it represents the brand’s relentless pursuit of lightness through innovations and technologies honed and refined in Formula 1. This class-leading supercar is the culmination of McLaren’s 60-year heritage. Through improved specifications, upgraded materials, and advanced CAE analysis, the McLaren 750S weighs just 1,389 kg — a reduction of 30 kg compared to the previous model. The goal of this reduced weight and perfectly balanced chassis is simple: to deliver class-leading driving pleasure. The additional 30 hp and 30 Nm of torque further enhance performance beyond that of the 720S. Powering the 750S is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, mid-mounted for ideal weight distribution — an engineering layout unique to McLaren. Incorporating new high-performance components and refined tuning, the engine produces a maximum output of 750 PS and 800 Nm of torque. The gearbox hardware and shift control have been revised, featuring a final drive ratio that is 15% shorter, along with retuned shift calibration. The 750S’s exterior form and surface details have been meticulously refined to achieve unprecedented aerodynamic efficiency. The front bumper and splitter have been redesigned, the eye sockets surrounding the headlights are sharper, the side air intakes have been reshaped, and the rear wing area has been enlarged by 20%. These improvements enhance balance, grip, and overall stability, increasing downforce by 5%. While there may be supercars with more extreme specifications or raw power figures, outright speed on a winding road is another matter entirely. The McLaren 750S was designed to deliver unmatched precision, agility, and driving pleasure — qualities that make it a true driver’s car.
