The McLaren Artura uses the advanced MCLA (McLaren Carbon Fiber Lightweight Architecture), and the V6 twin turbo unit mounted in the midship combines with a motor to produce a maximum system output of 700 PS. The cockpit is now more driver-centric than ever, and the drive mode selector (powertrain and handling can still be set separately) has been moved to the instrument binnacle, but instead the binnacle is mounted on the steering column and can be adjusted with the steering wheel, further enhancing driving ergonomics. As a result, the drive mode can be adjusted without taking your hands off the wheel. The powertrain can be set to four modes, and the handling mode adjusts the intervention of the Electronic Stability Control, which adjusts the damping pressure of the dampers to suit the driver's preference and road conditions.
