As Aston Martin's next-generation sports car and at the same time an ultra-luxury sports GT, the new Vantage is equipped with a significantly improved 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine. It produces 665 PS and 800 Nm of torque, which is an astonishing increase of 155 PS (30% increase) and 115 Nm (15% increase) over the previous model. Aston Martin's engineers have tuned the engine in a wide range of areas, including the adoption of improved cam profiles, optimization of the compression ratio, larger turbines, and strengthened cooling systems. Not only does it have a strong spec, it also produces a sharper feeling and a more sensual engine sound. The transmission is a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. The final drive ratio and shift schedule have been calibrated to maximize response and enjoyment. The Vantage is given an extremely strong bodywork, centered around Aston Martin's latest generation bonded aluminum structure. Adding reinforcement components to the underbody increases the overall torsional rigidity, and in combination with the inherent perfect 50:50 weight distribution, it provides more direct dynamics. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 (front 275/35 R21 / rear 325/30 R21) with a special compound. 21-inch forged alloy wheels (front 9.5J / rear 11.5J) available in three designs are standard. The front mask features an all-new matrix LED headlamp design with integrated daytime running light system (DRLs) featuring Aston Martin's new light signature, the grille opening in the bumper is 38% larger, and the top speed is 325km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100km/h is 3.5 seconds, making it the fastest car in Aston Martin's history.
