Egypt Vacation 2026 Makadi Bay: Snorkeling Tour Hurghada with Octopus & Coral Reefs in the Red Sea – Part 2 of our travel vlog shows the best snorkeling tour, the house reef of the JAZ Makadina, and the journey home to Munich. Welcome to part 2 of our Egypt vacation in the beautiful Makadi Bay near Hurghada! In this video, we take you on a full-day snorkeling tour in the Red Sea, where we explore three different reefs. Together with a local operator, we embark on an unforgettable day on the water. We experience stunning coral reefs, fascinating underwater worlds, and make some amazing sightings. The first reef completely captivated us: crystal-clear water, beautiful coral, and the most fish of the entire trip. Unfortunately, our time there was far too short. Afterward, we visit two more reefs, which unfortunately didn't quite live up to our expectations. In the video, I also give an honest review of the snorkeling tour and share some important tips on what to consider when booking excursions in Egypt. Especially with local providers, it's worth taking a close look to avoid overpaying or being disappointed. After the boat tour, we head straight to our hotel's house reef. A real highlight awaits us there: we spot an octopus, several lionfish, and many other impressive marine creatures. Often, it's the spontaneous snorkeling trips right by the hotel that offer the most memorable experiences. To conclude our vacation, it's time to say goodbye to the JAZ Makadina in the beautiful Makadi Bay. Over our last breakfast, we share our impressions of the hotel and our entire vacation – even though our stomachs weren't quite cooperating on departure day. Afterward, we accompany you to Hurghada Airport, share our personal conclusions about our vacation in Egypt, and reveal what we'll definitely miss – and what we can happily do without back home. Then it's back to Munich with Air Cairo.
