For the First Time Inside the Kitchen of One of Iran’s Iconic Restaurants; Ekhtiyariyeh’s 100-Year-Old Chelow Kababi with an Unforgettable Taste | Iranian Cuisine Hi, I’m Hami! 😎 Today we visited one of Tehran’s oldest neighborhoods – Ekhtiyariyeh Square – and discovered a historic Chelow Kababi called Noor Safa. This family-run restaurant has been serving authentic Iranian kebab since 1346 (Persian calendar) and is one of the best restaurants and chelow kabab places in Tehran and Iran. The restaurant is managed by the Ali Mardani family. The father started working with his own father in 1335 and opened Noor Safa in 1346. Now, his sons continue the family tradition, preparing traditional Iranian food with love and skill 🍽️ Stepping into Noor Safa feels like traveling back in time 🕰️ The cozy atmosphere, warm greetings, and nostalgic charm make it a truly unforgettable experience. Their dishes are made with high-quality ingredients, from classic chelow kabab, loghmeh kabab, and chelow barg to Mirza Ghasemi, Akbar Joojeh, chicken with leg or breast, Gheymeh, Ghormeh, and Lubia Polo.
