In this vlog, I'm sharing a simple weekend, one of those that seem ordinary but carry important lessons. On Saturday, we enjoyed the arrival of spring and the more pleasant weather. I went to some stores to look for clothes for the new season, stopped by Walmart to buy everyday items, and in the late afternoon, Derek arrived and we played tennis together. It's been so good to enjoy these moments outdoors after winter. In the evening, I prepared dinner and we ended the day with that simple routine that I love so much. On Sunday, we started the day with breakfast that Derek prepared, went to church, and then had lunch together. We took advantage of the afternoon to rest and, later, went to the market to do the weekly shopping. When we got home, I sat down to talk to you about something that resonated strongly in my heart. The pastor's sermon that day spoke about self-control, and I felt I needed to apply that practically in my life. After discovering I have high cholesterol in tests I did in Brazil, I started to realize how much some habits, especially with sweets and chocolates, were affecting me more than I imagined. This vlog is about that: routine, faith, and small changes. About learning to live more consciously, taking care of your body and heart at the same time.
