A week that wasn't planned: suitcase packed on Tuesday, road trip with Derek, a new city, and me driving alone at night for the first time in a capital city to have dinner with a friend. There are things that life only teaches you when you simply go. On the way back, a quick stop at a store, work on Friday, and at the end of the day Derek and I went to the lake to watch the sunset for the first time this year.
