What Makes a Gel Print Interesting?

In this video, we're stepping away from techniques and tutorials to explore a different question: How do we look at our prints? A good print is easy to recognize. It has pleasing colours, a strong image, and perhaps you'd be happy to frame it or give it to a friend. But an interesting print is different. It suggests possibilities. It raises questions. It makes us curious. Join me in the studio as we look at a variety of gel prints and discuss the difference between "good" and "interesting." Along the way, I'll share the five questions I ask when I'm sorting through my own prints and explain why some of my favorite discoveries have come from prints that didn't go as planned.
