7 Creative Ways to Use Stencils on a Gel Plate

In this video, I'm exploring creative ways to use stencils on the gel plate as part of Days 87–93 of the project. This week I've been experimenting with layering stencils, building opacity through stencil techniques, and comparing those results with more intentional transparent layers. It's been fascinating to see how different approaches can create completely different textures, depth, and visual effects in a print. My favourite print from this week was created by layering two portrait stencils with transparent paints to create an abstract, expressive image that evolved in unexpected ways.
