Samach Vav Part 139: How taanug and ratzon interact with each other

Samach Vav p. 101: This explains why oneg and ratzon "enclothe" each other in their expression, because they both come from the same root in the core soul, with one being concealed within and the other revealed without, and there is no taanug without ratzon and ratzon without taanug. Ratzon manifests in everytting that he has taanug; taanug (ha'atzmi) exists in everything he hs ratzon, even in ratzon ha'atzmi. The power of ratzon to control taanug is only over the expression of taanug, but the taanug ha'atzmi is actually aligned with the ratzon atzmi, therefore the expression of taanug submits to the ratzon. In their expression taanug and ratzon exchange roles as they "enclothe" each other: At times taanug is the inner and ratzon is the outer; and at times ratzon is the inner, the atzmi, and taanug is its expression following the ratzon. And at times the ratzon also reveals the taanug ha'atzmi, as when one takes pleasure in the etzem of their beloved (see part 137) (this is an example of the taanug ha'atzmi being revealed in the future).
