Since late May, the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has conducted a comprehensive survey covering the entire Huangyan Island atoll. This scientific expedition is beneficial for deepening our understanding and prediction of the Huangyan Island ecosystem and serves the ecological civilization construction of the South China Sea. "I want to emphasize here that any activities China conducts on Huangyan Island, including scientific research, are the legitimate rights of a sovereign state, and other countries have no right to interfere. Another reporter asked about the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office's decision to extend the detention period for Murata, an active-duty officer of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces, who illegally entered the Chinese Embassy in Japan with a knife, to continue investigating whether he possesses criminal responsibility. The Japanese investigation and handling process has been slow, and serious incidents threatening the safety of Chinese embassies and consulates in Japan continue to occur. Japan has failed to manage and control its Self-Defense Forces, and there has been a lack of internal management and education within the Self-Defense Forces.
