This unique hotel, once a working tea factory, offers an unforgettable experience with its combination of historical charm and modern luxury. From the moment I arrived, I was amazed by the beauty and serenity of the place. The video starts with a look at the hotel’s impressive breakfast buffet, where I enjoy a variety of fresh items, including croissants, fruit, waffles, and freshly squeezed juices. After breakfast, I take you on a tour of my room, which was part of the original tea factory. The hotel has done an incredible job preserving the space, maintaining its natural beauty while adding modern comforts. I then explore more of the hotel, including the lobby, spa, relaxation areas, and the well-equipped gym. Afterward, I head outside for a hands-on experience with tea plucking, guided by a local expert who takes me through the lush tea plantations. I spend about 30 minutes picking tea leaves before visiting the tea museum to see how the leaves are processed into the iconic Ceylon tea. The evening wraps up with a delicious Sri Lankan tasting menu at the hotel’s restaurant, paired with a refreshing local craft beer. This has to be one of the most stunning and immersive places I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka, and I can’t wait to share this experience with you.
