This shows you lack insightful observation. You need insightful observation to see things clearly. Look at your boss sitting in his office while you're standing there working. You think he's so comfortable, but do you know how much harder he worked than you did when you were studying? Do you know how many times more effort he had to put in to sit in an office than a normal worker? Insightful observation means changing your mindset to look at the problem. That's why many men often think, why is their son... Why are daughters so close to their mothers, and not so close to their fathers? Does the mother or the father care for the child more? There's no way around it; the mother carries the child for ten months, enduring pain. Children are naturally closer to their mothers. What is there for the man to argue about? It's only natural for a child to be with their mother; it's that simple. Therefore, "wonderful observation wisdom" refers to using skillful methods to observe everything in the world, and this wisdom arises. "Acting wisdom" refers to one's own actions, which is called willpower. Observe anyone who can persevere in doing things; does that person have willpower? This is what "acting wisdom" is. One's actions are very important; it's your willpower. "Accomplishing wisdom" refers to the wisdom that arises from one's success and actions. This wisdom is because you succeeded because you had willpower. Look at anyone who succeeds without willpower; that's why it's called "accomplishing wisdom." These are all Mahayana Buddhist concepts. "Consciousness" is the ability to judge whether something is good or bad; you've already formed a concept. When someone does something, even if it's clearly good... It's not good to think that way. Many people who are unwilling to study see that studying is good, and when they see someone studying hard, they think that person is not good. This mindset has already formed, and it's very important. Deep within a person's consciousness lies the Great Perfect Mirror Wisdom, which is your consciousness itself. Therefore, if your consciousness is pure, clear, and correct, you will be correct throughout your life; this is called the Great Perfect Mirror Wisdom. Your consciousness is incorrect, and you'll do nothing right your whole life. Many women fail in marriage because they think their men should be this way or that way, so they'd rather not marry than not find such a man. They'll remain single their whole lives, believing that if they get together with a man, he should treat them this way. Your mind has formed a fixed concept, so you feel uncomfortable looking at any man, and eventually, he leaves you. The meaning of "Great Perfect Mirror Wisdom" is that your heart should be as perfect as a mirror. What is a mirror? It reflects. It reflects others' perfection. If you can see good things, good things will exist in your heart; if you see bad things, bad things will exist in your heart. Therefore, seeing the true wisdom of consciousness is called "Great Perfect Mirror Wisdom." The inherent wisdom of human consciousness is called innate wisdom. A person should know that what is good is good, and what is bad is bad. This is your inherent will. Do people have an inherent will? Yes, everyone knows that those who harm others are bad people, and those who help others are good people. Everyone knows this, but some people are harming others. Do you know they're bad people? You don't. You know many people are deceiving others, so why do you join them in deceiving people? Don't you know what's good and what's bad? So nowadays, in society, as long as you make money, who cares if someone is cheating? As long as you make money, that's all that matters. Do you think this mindset is correct? The true wisdom of consciousness is having a clear understanding in your mind—knowing what you can and cannot do. All beings possess the five wisdoms: form, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness. The first is called the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu nature, the wisdom of equality; the third is the wisdom of wondrous observation; then comes the wisdom of accomplishment, the great mirror wisdom. Actually, the wisdom I'm telling you about in the human realm is what we recite in the Heart Sutra: "Seeing that the five aggregates are empty." In reality, all of this is already in your mind. Do you have this inherent consciousness in your understanding of things? For example, if someone tells you, "Hey, this kid is playing computer games too much," and you often think, "Oh, it's ok...
