Moving On and Out

The plaintiff says he rented an apartment from the defendant in a converted farmhouse and that the defendant refuses to return his security deposit. He is suing for its return. The defendant says the plaintiff moved his girlfriend into the apartment, later left to live with someone else, and allowed the first girlfriend to remain in the unit.
