The Chuo Gakuin University Ekiden Club works hard every day, aiming for the Hakone Ekiden. We bring you footage of the team's hard work and dedication, as well as the everyday life of dorm life for students living away from home! ○Editor's Note○ Today, we brought you footage from our final summer training camp☀️ We filmed the athletes over multiple days as they trained for the qualifying rounds☺️ While the video only shows the summer training camp partially completed, they put in great practice and finished in good form as a team! We hope you'll support Chuo Gakuin University at the Hakone Ekiden qualifying round on October 18th✨📣 ○About the Chuo Gakuin University Ekiden Club Current coach Yuji Kawasaki founded the Chuo Gakuin University Ekiden Club from scratch. Their training base is in Abiko City, Chiba Prefecture. The team is known for their flawless, error-free, and tenacious team-wide ekiden. Although the distance covered during practice is less than that of other schools, the team places emphasis on mastering correct form and building basic physical strength through strengthening exercises, among other efforts to improve the athletes' abilities, and they practice hard every day in order to achieve their team goal in the university ekiden relay race.
