Bangladesh 🇧🇩 is the only predominantly Muslim country where prostitution is tolerated. This documentary, subtitled in Spanish, delves into the alleyways of #Daulatdia, known as "the city of prostitutes," where some 1,500 prostitutes receive more than 3,000 clients every day. For this reason, Daulatdia, very close to the border with India, is called "the largest brothel in the world." This documentary reflects the daily lives of several of these #Bangladesh prostitutes who live a double life. Thousands of clients use their services, but at the same time, they are not accepted as part of society, and they and their children suffer discrimination. Their children are not even accepted into the same schools as the rest of the city's children. And that's a problem for boys, because girls are condemned to something much worse: replacing their mothers in prostitution.
