EXPLORING HARTON CEMETERY | SOUTH SHIELDS

Today I visited the huge Harton Cemetery in South Shields. This Victorian cemetery is still in use today. It's not just huge but a beautiful and interesting cemetery. Full of the towns history, beautiful memorials, fine epitaphs and a stunning cemetery chapel. And a grand cemetery lodge and cemetery entrance. I visited different sections, sometimes interrupted by the rain. This cemetery is even more beautiful on a summers day.
