Every day consisted of 2 to 3 running sessions and the 20+ hour training weeks were stacking up as my fitness reached new heights. After securing a squad of elite Japanese marathoners to train with, it became less a matter of if Iād run under 2:10, but surely just a matter of when⦠until a crippling hip imbalance shattered that dream and I went from all to nothing!
