2025 Basket Weaving Harvest
For the past 3 years, the Weaver's Circle has been held here at the Huhugam Heritage Center, becoming a safe space for all current and future weavers to learn and socialize with one another; continuing the art of traditional Akimel O'otham weaving. During the gathering, weavers taught each other to identify their materials before learning how to cultivate and process these elements. In the video, former and current weavers share their thoughts on the experience from the 2024 Harvest.
