A new era in the treatment of sqNSCLC

[Oncoinfo – Istantanee di Oncologia: seguici su http://oncoinfo.it] At the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting, two studies on bispecific antibodies were presented, offering a glimpse into the dawn of a new era in lung cancer treatment: MarsLight-11, a trial in progress evaluating IBI363 (TAK-928) versus docetaxel in patients with squamous non-small cell lung cancer (sqNSCLC) after prior chemotherapy and immunotherapy; and HARMONi-6, that showed how the treatment of advanced sqNSCLC with ivonescimab plus chemotherapy increases overall survival, in addition to improving progression-free survival, compared to a current treatment of tislelizumab plus chemotherapy. We discussed the clinical significance of both studies in Chicago with Roy S. Herbst (Ensign Professor of Medical Oncology, Yale School of Medicine - Deputy Director, Yale Cancer Center).
