Launceston Steam Railway: Drivers Eye View from Covertcoat! - 2026

A short trip along the Launceston Steam Railway, from New Mills to Launceston. The LSR is 2½ miles long and relaid along the old LSWR withered arm from Exeter to Wadebridge and Padstow via Okehampton. The locomotive was Covertcoat, built in 1898 for the Dinorwic Quarry. Filmed on a GoPro mounted on the right boiler handrail, with audio from a microphone mounted to a handrail behind the locomotive at roof height on the leading carriage.
