After visiting Galeana in the mountains of Nuevo León, we continued our journey south, but very close by! Just half an hour from Galeana is the town of Pablillo, and there, along with our friends from Media Explora, we took the dirt road to reach the San Francisco Valley. Our goal was to find treasures with a metal detector—our first time trying this fun hobby. We didn't find much: a couple of bullets, some coins, a copper ring, and lots of bottle caps. But the real treasure was found when we arrived at the San Francisco Valley, a campsite where the San Francisco Retreat is located.
