Doctor Who Sings - Doctor in Distress
In 1985, the BBC cancelled “Doctor Who”. After much public backlash, the cancellation was quickly redefined as an 18-month hiatus. “Doctor in Distress” was a charity single released in March ‘85 to campaign for the show to be brought back sooner, performed by cast members from the show and a number of high-profile performers at that time. The single was a commercial failure, and terrible in its own right, but there was no way that we were never going to cover it on this channel! We’ve made a few timing “adjustments” (we’ve put the words in the right places), and we think the finished result is a genuine improvement on the original. Not that that’s a very high bar… Patreon: / doctorwhosings Instagram: / doctor_who_sings Twitter: / doctorwhosings Facebook: / doctorwhosings
