I brought all my stoves out 😁 they’re all unique and versatile and work better at some dishes and certain scenarios than others. https://www.justgiving.com/page/walkc... last chance to sponsor me for the 10 mile hike ondid aroud the Peak District for diabetes uk last weekend 💪🏻✌🏻🌲 My mums Stick to ya ribs recipe plays off an old saying to mean a good hearty/filling meal. :Stoves are: All trangia or swedish military Triangle Mini (28) M44 swedish military mess stove (aluminium version of an older stainless steel M40) T27 Swedish military Ranger stove T25 largest one :Stick to ya ribs! Whats in it? 500g lean beef steak mince (5% fat) 80g spicy chorizo (use normal chorizo of you dont want extra spice in there) 1 large onion Few potatos 150ml beef stock 2 tbsp tomato purée 1 tbsp black pepper 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1.5 tbsp paprika 1/2 tbsp mixed herbs 1/2 tbsp garlic granules 1/2 tbsp chipotle chilli flakes (can leave out if you’re a not a fan of spice) 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper Tin of butter beans (drained) Tin of kidney beans (drained) Tin of baked beans :How?: Cook onion and chorizo together until the onion is soft Cook mince until almost dry and add all the herbs /spices Cook for 30seconds to release the flavours Add beef stock, tomatos, all 3 lots of beans and simmer for 10-15min Sever with potatoes (boiled, mashed or jacket) I’ll be having some with rice today and might even try a leftover burito wednesday i lf there is any left ✌🏻🌲 Enjoy #outdoorcooking #outdoorgear #gooutside #woods #trangia #campingstove
