Graupner Amigo II restoration

We have all started the beautiful hobby of model making at some point. All beginnings are difficult, as we all know, and so we have often made one or two building mistakes. Most of the time, the models follow anyway. Anyway, you don't have to take it too seriously. But often the mistakes are not even recognized. In any case, after an initial inspection it was clear that this time we were dealing with such a model. Ultimately, this is an original worth preserving, which is why the restoration was tackled. I think I managed to eliminate almost all the defects during the restoration. only left the upper wing paneling, which was too wide on the outside. I was particularly surprised that the fuselage could be brought back into a straight shape. I took a special approach with the canopy, which ensures a good fit even when using the motor attachment and, as a side effect, also makes it easier to change the wing quickly.
