Going in Too Deep

The plaintiff says she went to the defendant, a dentist, to have a root canal done. She says he stuck a needle in her mouth and went too deep, hitting her jawbone. Her mouth was throbbing for days, so she went to another dentist, who told her that the defendant had made a mistake and ended up having her tooth removed. She’s suing for a refund and pain and suffering. The defendant disputes doing anything improper.
