Let's bounce! — Dian Nissen I was fortunate to learn about the joy and benefits of bouncing at an early age from my dad, George Nissen, the inventor of the trampoline. Bouncing on a trampoline kept him healthy and fit into his 90s. My dad and mom were two of the first people to jump on trampolines and I have been bouncing my entire life. I certainly have stories to share. I truly believe we are all born to bounce. Bouncing is such a natural and joyful activity — something most people have experienced in one way or another. Maybe it was bouncing on a bed, jumping on a backyard trampoline, or as a child on a parent’s knee. There’s something about bouncing that brings out happiness while also making us healthier and stronger. You will find exercises on Born to Bounce that are effective and enjoyable for all ages and body types. With 40 years of experience as a fitness instructor, I’ve trained in numerous exercise modalities and continually expanded my knowledge as a fitness educator.
