Piko HO SP Krauss Maffei Diesel Hydraulic #9102- Expert Line

Finally picked up one of the Piko HO Scale Krauss Maffei units. These have been on my radar for a while, and once the group with "faded" paint and other cosmetic tweaks appeared, I had to check one out. These are really nice locomotives! Drivetrain is smooth and quiet, weight is solid and the detail stands with the best on the North American market. The decoder functions take a bit to get used to, but the sound is crisp and works well for the diesel hydraulic. Piko did these units up right.
