Jordan: a safe destination?

Is Jordan a safe destination? If you're planning on visiting Jordan, and not sure whether or not it's a safe destination, watch this! International media has been shedding light on the Middle East's unrest since the beginning of the Arabic Spring. Today, as Syria enters its sixth year of civil war, people still believe that the Middle East in general is an unsafe to place to visit, associating Jordan with the turmoil happening in the region. We spent a day walking around the streets of the capital of Jordan; Amman, asking tourists and expats about their experience in the country and safety concerns. This is a project that was initiated by my brother, Nasser Kawar, and myself to finally have this question answered by visitors and expats.
