Virtual Foraging - Wild Food In Urban Areas [Series 2, Episode 5]

In this episode, Vix explores residential areas to showcase the amazing wild foods that can be found right on your doorstep. Discussing the considerations that must be made when foraging in urban landscapes, Vix collects a number of delicious spring edibles and demonstrates how to turn them into a wonderful meal. This video has been created to complement our Wild Food Box initiative, whereby each month we forage and deliver twenty free boxes of wild food ingredients, offering them to low and no-income homes within our area. It is our hope that, with this project, we can help challenges of food poverty by sharing a passion and knowledge for foraged foods.
