🚴🥾 Velomobile meets hiking – my unusual duathlon! South of Augsburg, I set off on a 90 km tour towards the Alpine foothills with my velomobile. 700 meters of elevation gain, tight switchbacks, steep climbs, and a few wrong turns make for an exciting ride. Once I arrive in Bad Kohlgrub, I continue on foot: about 500 meters of elevation gain to the Hörnle, with breathtaking views over Lake Ammersee, Lake Starnberg, and the Alps. At the top, I enjoy the panorama, film a paraglider taking off, and then take the chairlift back down to the valley.
