3,000ft Solo Mountain Wild Camp on Ill Crag in the MLD Duomid

Lake District wild camping - First wild camp in my new Mountain Laurel Designs Duomid tent at 3000ft on Ill Crag near Scafell Pike, in the Lake District. My route took me from Dungeon Ghyll heading up Rossett Gill past Angle Tarn, Esk Hause and on to Ill Crag. A still night with a sky full of stars. My return route was via Esk Pike, Bowfell, and Crinkle Crags and a look at the bad step. My Strava stats recorded a 16 mile walk with 4900ft of ascent. Couldn’t resist a cooling dip at the end. Such a beautiful day.
