Man On The Silver Mountain - how did Ritchie play it?

For years guitarists have wondered how Ritchie Blackmore played the arpeggios in the original recorded version of "Man On The Silver Mountain". Most videos and tabs show them as triads played with fast cross-picking on three strings. But when you slow those arpeggios down and listen to them carefully, you'll hear some notes that aren't in the triads. In this video I'll go into detail about where these missing notes are, how to hear them, and why they don't fit into existing interpretations of how Ritchie played the arpeggios. These missing notes also give clues as to how Ritchie might actually have been playing it. I'll also explain and demo how to play the main riff in the song. I can't tell if he's using pulloffs in the arpeggios. As I explain at the end of the video, I think it's a combination of pulloffs and cross-picking. I've created a short tab for the 3 arpeggio sections, but I don't try to notate the pulloffs; it's just shown as all picking.
