Trains in Tasmania 1989 covers Australia's island state in 1990. The narrow gauge system was dominated by English Electric diesels at the time, Some obtained new by the TGR in the 1970's. The majority were obtained second hand from Queensland Railways in the 1980's. Locations featured include, Conara Junction, Hobart, Bridgewater, Burnie, Launceston and Western Junction. Also included is a couple of shots on the Emu Bay Railway. Enable subtitles in view captions
