Lockhart Rising isn’t your average barbecue festival. Hosted by the team at Mill Scale Metalworks in Lockhart, Texas, this event brings together an incredible collection of pitmasters from around the world to cook over live fire, share ideas, and celebrate barbecue at its highest level. This year I joined the crew again, firing up the Mill Scale plancha and cooking hundreds of pork smash burgers alongside an amazing team. Between the heat, the smoke, the music, and serving hungry crowds all day, we didn’t get to film everything, but this video gives you a real behind-the-scenes look at one of the most unique barbecue gatherings anywhere in the world.
