Religions of India (II): The Great Philosophical Systems Broadcast Date: 11/22/1998 TV Program - India is home to a wide variety of religions. Currently, the secular state does not specifically support any of the religious manifestations existing within its territory, as enshrined in its Constitution, which guarantees complete religious freedom. In this second part, and within the framework of Indian religions, some of the most outstanding characteristics of Indian philosophical systems are discussed, classified into two large groups: orthodox and heterodox (which reject Vedic authority).
