Making Butteries at McKenzie's Bakery, Turriff in 2005
In order to get the required footage to accompany Sandy Reid's poem 'Jist a Buttery' Gibby and Ann Ross went to Mackenzie's Bakery in Main Street, Turriff one night and filmed various parts of the process of making butteries, over a period of a few hours. Only a few minutes of the filming were used on Sandy's track but here you can see more of the bakers busily working during the night.
