The real reason meal prepping felt like a hassle was the containers. Placing food in a container, transferring it, and then reheating it... This process is what makes you give up on meal prepping. Today, I will set a clear standard for starting meal prepping again by simply changing your container. [Ingredient Measurements] 1. Carrot Soup Appropriate amount of carrots Appropriate amount of tomatoes 200cc oil Blueberry wine 3 teaspoons salt Herbs to taste 2. Tomato Soup & Pasta Appropriate amount of tomatoes Appropriate amount of fig sourdough bread 4 sachets of broth 80g parsley 1 swirl of blueberry wine vinegar Lemon zest Salt to taste 2 servings of spaghettini (size of 2 500-won coins) 1.5 liters of water 15g salt 2 sachets of broth 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil Pizza cheese to taste 3. Pumpkin Soup 1 pumpkin Appropriate amount of onion Appropriate amount of cabbage Small amount of carrots 85g unsalted butter (for sautéing) + 150g (for finishing) 2 teaspoons blueberry wine salt Appropriate amount of white pepper 500ml water + 400ml 4 packs of Almond Breeze (Unsweetened) Appropriate amount of Extra Virgin Olive Oil [Instructions] 1. Carrot Soup 1. Steam the carrots for 5-10 minutes, let them cool, and then cut them. 2. Add them along with the tomatoes to create liquid. 3. Add 200cc of oil, blueberry wine, and salt, and bring to a boil. 4. Boil until the rich sweetness of the carrots is released. 5. After the liquid evaporates, bring to a high boil once to cool down and finish. 6. Add herbs to finish. 2. Tomato Soup 1. Remove the stems from the tomatoes, cut them into 6 pieces, and blend them in a blender. 2. Lightly toast the fig sourdough bread and blend them together. 3. Bring to a boil over medium-low heat. 4. Season with lemon zest and salt. 5. Add a swirl of blueberry wine vinegar to remove the acidity. 6. For consumption as soup, add 4 packets of 3-Minute Broth and 80g of parsley. 2-1. Pasta Meal Prep 1. Add 15g of salt and 2 broth packets to 1.5 liters of water and bring to a boil. 2. Cook the pasta for only half to two-thirds the usual amount of time (about 5 minutes). 3. Drain the pasta in a sieve and place it directly into a container. 4. Add two tablespoons of olive oil and mix to coat. 5. Let it cool, then pour in tomato sauce and refrigerate. 6. For a gratin style, sprinkle with cheese and air fry at 180 degrees for 2–3 minutes. 3. Pumpkin Soup 1. Cook the pumpkin in the microwave for 7 minutes. 2. Slowly sauté the onion in butter and olive oil over medium-low heat. 3. Add blueberry wine, salt, and white pepper to enhance the flavor. 4. Peel the pumpkin and cut it into thumb-sized pieces. 5. Finely grind the skin in a blender. 6. Add the carrot and pumpkin to the onion and sauté until it becomes like porridge. 7. Add 500ml of water, scrape the bottom, then add cabbage and 400ml of water. 8. Close the lid. Cook thoroughly, then season with salt. 9. Add 4 packets of Almond Breeze and 150g of unsalted butter to finish. 10. Let it cool slightly, then blend in a mixer and transfer to a container. The reason meal prep was such a hassle wasn't the cooking itself, but the containers. If you use plastic containers, the food gets stained, odors don't dissipate, and since you eventually have to transfer it, you end up not doing it.
