Black Country Surprise In Deprived Homeland! 🇬🇧

Welcome to my hometown, Wolverhampton. I down-to-earth, no-frills, rough and ready city. In my opinion this is the heart of the Midlands. Growing up in this area, Wolvo has always been a place with obvious problems, but the people are about as genuine as you could wish to meet. Kind hearted, honest and eccentric characters with a great sense of humour abound. Unfortunately, Wolves city centre is in poor decline. Once bustling, many of the streets of the centre are empty - full of boarded up shops and with very few shoppers. It was a sad sight for me to encounter on my return. I noticed some homeless people in the city and thought I could buy some survival essentials for them, so I ventured over to nearby Bilston market. Much to my surprise, the working class Black Country traditional market there was bustling and I was met with a very warm welcome.
