People Keep Asking Me About Racism In Germany. Here’s My Honest Answer.
One of the most common questions I get as a Black American living in Germany is: “Have you experienced racism?” After years of living in Germany, I wanted to sit down and give the most honest answer I can. This isn’t a video about proving Germany is perfect. And it isn’t a video about proving Germany is terrible. It’s simply my personal experience as a Black American who moved abroad and built a life in Germany. In this video I talk about my experiences growing up in America, what I expected before moving to Germany, what I actually experienced after arriving, and what living abroad taught me about people, culture, and perspective. My experience won’t be everyone’s experience, but it’s mine. I’d love to hear yours in the comments. Have you ever moved abroad? Has living in another country changed the way you see the world? 👇 Join the conversation below. #Germany #LivingInGermany #BlackInGermany black american in germany, racism in germany, black people in germany, living in germany, germany vs america, american living in germany, moving to germany, life in germany, culture differences germany, black expat germany, black immigrant germany, germany experiences, racism abroad, black traveler germany, living abroad, expat life germany, american abroad, moving abroad, germany culture, life as a black man in germany
